"I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to benefit from the expertise and professionalism of Jane Cast and Elissa Benson of NRK. I have been receiving treatment from them over the last several months, to improve the position of my ankle and its foot. After many treatments, which were supplemented with massages daily at home provided by my support workers, who were each trained by Jane, my foot placement had improved sufficiently for me to be referred back to Queens Square Hospital for a review of my splint. It was established that I required a replacement custom splint to reflect the improvement in my ankle and foot. Jane was determined that the months of hard work to prepare my foot, should not be lost. She was determined to accompany me to London for the casting of the replacement splint. Jane and Elissa met me and my carer at Queens Square Hospital just before the appointment. They worked on my foot and my posture ahead of the splint- casting. They were both professional, thorough and focused on what’s best for the client to maximise the positive outcomes of the process. Elissa really put my dad at ease with her relaxed and professional manner and after a comprehensive assessment, she was able to identify his problems and set some goals.
